Clay Studio Night
For adults, our Clay Studio Night is the perfect chance to unwind and get creative with clay in a relaxed, social setting. Tuesday Nights from 6-8 pm. Call ahead to save a spot! Cost is $25 per person, clay included.
Embroidery on Knits
Join us for an exciting workshop led by Brena Smith, owner of The Dye Smith, to learn about embroidering on knits! This beginner-friendly session will introduce you to the foundational stitches of hand embroidery and demonstrate how to effectively apply them to knit fabrics. You'll also learn how to transfer patterns (on both knitted and woven fabrics), explore the use of embroidery hoops, and gain insights into selecting the threads, floss, and needles for your projects.
Photography Workshop with Steve Sunday
This 3 hour workshop will cover the basics of photography. While its focus (pun intended!) will be on DSLR cameras, we will talk about all types of cameras including film, point and shoot, mirrorless, and even smart phones. Topics will include a brief history of photography and cameras, how cameras work, the essence of light, capturing the critical moment, composition and exposure, and different types of photography (action, landscapes, portraits, photojournalism, etc.). There will be one on one time in the session to ask specific questions so bring whatever you have and learn how to get the most out of it.
Sheep to Sweater Series
Learn how to process wool from start to finish in this series of classes. Starting with skirting and washing a fleece, then preparing (carding) the wool for spinning, then spinning the wool into yarn using a drop spindle, and finishing with a sweater workshop for those wanting to make their first sweater, or gain new skills in sweater making, such as steeking and other techniques. Save $30 on your purchase of the whole series!
*We will not be making a sweater’s worth of yarn in this series, it takes me about 6 months to make that much yarn! We will learn the skills for you to be able to purchase a fleece in the future and confidently know how to process it from start to finish.
*Raw wool will be provided for the scouring and carding classes, and prepared wool for the spinning class for those who didn’t get wool in the previous class. I will have a couple student spindles to use in the drop spinning class, you may want to purchase your own spindle. For the sweater workshop, you will need to bring yarn and a pattern. I can help you pick out your supplies ahead of time.

Private Knit Lessons
Private lessons are always available during normal business hours (please call ahead to schedule), as well as after hours for groups (minimum of 4). Cost is $25/hour.. Help is always available for free if 15 minutes or under, no need to call ahead. Crochet is also available! Please call for more details.
