This 3 hour workshop will cover the basics of photography. While its focus (pun intended!) will be on DSLR cameras, we will talk about all types of cameras including film, point and shoot, mirrorless, and even smart phones. Topics will include a brief history of photography and cameras, how cameras work, the essence of light, capturing the critical moment, composition and exposure, and different types of photography (action, landscapes, portraits, photojournalism, etc.). There will be one on one time in the session to ask specific questions so bring whatever you have and learn how to get the most out of it.
